Vicksburg District Team Member Returns From Deployment

Vicksburg, Miss… David Carraway, Environmental Specialist with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) Vicksburg District, recently returned from deployment in Kabul, Afghanistan, in support of Overseas Contingency Operations. While deployed, he worked as a cartographic specialist and became the geographic information system team lead for the Corps’ Transatlantic District North. The current plan has been used as a guide for recreational and environmental stewardship decisions for over 30 years.
