Arkabutla Lake Hosts 15th Annual Eagle Watch

VICKSBURG, MISS… Arkabutla Lake will host the 15th annual Mid Winter Bald Eagle Survey, Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 7:00 a.m. Volunteers will watch, count and document movement of bald eagles around Arkabutla Lake. Mat Sinking Unit Completes Season

Notice of Availability of Leased Lands near Sardis Lake

Vicksburg, Miss. - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District is offering agricultural land for lease to the public. These sections of agricultural lands consist of several tracts in Lafayette, Marshall, and Panola counties near Sardis Lake. The Notice of Availability number for these tracts is DACW38-9-15-6. These properties will be leased for crops, hay, highly erodible land (HEL), pasture and grazed woods. [Read More]
