Vicksburg District Sponsors Eighth Grade Career Day

The Vicksburg District encompasses a 68,000-square-mile area across portions of Mississippi, Arkansas, and Louisiana that holds seven major river basins and incorporates approximately 460 miles of mainline levees. The district is engaged in hundreds of projects and supports disaster response in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Tennessee.

Vicksburg, Miss…. Members of the Vicksburg Leadership Development Program and employees from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District will host a career day for 8th graders in Warren County. The career day will be April 10 from 8:00am to 2:00pm in the gym at Warren Central Jr. High School.

The eight grade students from Warren Central Junior High, Vicksburg Junior High, St Aloysius, Porters Chapel Academy and area home schoolers will attend throughout the day according to schedule.
