Members with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Charlie Company, 249th Engineer Battallion and USACE Tulsa District explain to USACE Vicksburg District Commander Col. Robert Hilliard how the power generators operate, Aug.. 31, 2021, at the Camp Shelby, Mississippi, Hurricane Ida staging area. Col. Hilliard and Deputy District Engineer Ms. Pat Hemphill, met with USACE team members with the Tulsa and Mobile districts as well as the 249th Prime Power team to thank them for their dedication to providing temporary emergency power when called upon. The temporary power teams were staged to provide temporary power support as assigned by FEMA for the Federal response.
