Vicksburg District reaffirms partnership agreement with Beechwood Elementary

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Vicksburg District Commander Col. Robert A. Hilliard, Beechwood Elementary School principal David Adams, Vicksburg District outreach committee members and faculty and staff from Beechwood Elementary School discuss the adopt-a-school plan for the 2019-2020 school year at Beechwood Elementary School in Vicksburg, Mississippi, Nov. 4. Annually, the district participates in an adopt-a-school program with local schools to inspire future leaders in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics; enhance local understanding of the USACE mission; and encourage community outreach participation from USACE employees.
