Hilliard and Beechwood Elementary School principal David Adams sign an adoption certificate Nov. 4 Beechwood Elementary School in Vicksburg, Mississippi, securing the 2019-2020 Adopt-A-School partnership between the district and the school. Annually, the district participates in an adopt-a-school program with local schools to inspire future leaders in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics; enhance local understanding of the USACE mission; and encourage community outreach participation from USACE employees.
