Corps’ Regulatory Chief of Permits Retires
Vicksburg, Miss….David Lofton of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) Vicksburg District is retiring with more than 36 years of total service. Lofton is a Supervisory Environmental Specialist and Chief of the Permit Section in the Regulatory Branch of the Operations Division, where he has worked for over 33 years. He began his career as a Biological Assistant at Waterways Experiment Station before transferring to the Vicksburg District.
