  • Red River Waterway Presents Annual Water Resource Festival

    Vicksburg, Miss…The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in conjunction with the Red River Waterway Commission and other partners, are hosting the 10th Annual Red River Water Resource Festival May 8-9, 2015. The two-day festival begins at 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 8th, with safe summer presentations for approximately 500 5th-7th graders from Caddo, Bossier, and Webster parishes.

Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District recently announced the selection of Randy Holder as chief of its evaluation section of the regulatory branch of Operations Division. In this position, Holder will be responsible for the supervision of an interdisciplinary team tasked with the oversight, development, and issuance of standard permits, letters of permission, mitigation banks, and cultural resource reviews.
