The Vicksburg District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) has closed some boat ramps and recreational areas at Lake Ouachita, Lake Greeson and DeGray Lake in Arkansas due to recent high water levels in the lakes. Concrete barriers are being placed at boat ramps, recreational areas and day use areas for visitors’ safety. Additional campsites may close should water levels rise. As water begins to recede, each recreational area or facility will be re-evaluated and re-opened as soon as it is safe for visitor use.
